Faaliyet Tabanlı maliyet Sistemi: Bir Dijital Baskı İşletmesinde Uygulama

Abstract

Yeni gelişmeler karşısında, yıllar önce geliştirilen maliyet muhasebesi sistemlerinin günümüz ortamında yetersiz kaldığı ileri sürülmüş ve bu konuda geleneksel maliyet yöntemi önemli eleştirilere maruz kalmıştır. Geleneksel maliyet muhasebesi sistemleri direkt maliyetlerin ağırlıklı olduğu üretim ortamları baz alınarak geliştirildiğinden, yöneticilerin maliyet bilgisi gereksinimini karşılayacak yeni sistemlere ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada faaliyete dayalı maliyet sistemi, yönetim ve maliyet muhasebesi açısından incelenmekte ve sistemin dijital baskı sektöründen bir işletmede uygulanması ile elde edilen sonuçlar açıklanmaktadır.

In the face of new developments, traditional cost accounting systems are believed inadequate and these traditional systems are questioned. As the traditional cost accounting systems are developed on the base of direct costs, and the role of indirect costs are growing up, it is needed new systems in order to meet the cost information needs of the managers. In this study, activity based costing is analyzed from the view of cost and management accounting. The results obtained from a digital printing industry is then discussed.
