Ülkemizde emniyet teşkilatı eğitim kurumlarında coğrafya eğitimi

Abstract

Türk Polis Teşkilâtı, kuruluşundan bu yana vatan ve millet hizmetindeki kutsal görevini; Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılâpları doğrultusunda Cumhuriyet'e, Anayasa ve Kanunlara bağlı olarak, zaman zaman çok güç şartlar içerisinde canını feda etmekten çekinmeksizin eşsiz bir feragat ve fedakârlık göstererek yerine getirmiş, milletinin güven ve sevgisini kazanmış, bu vasıfları ile Dünya Polis Teşkilâtları içerisinde müstesna bir yer kazanmıştır. Amacı ülkemizdeki Emniyet mensubu yetiştiren kurumların kısa tarihçesini ortaya koyup bu eğitim kurumlarında uygulanan müfredatı ele almak ve bu müfredat içerisinde Coğrafya Eğitiminin yeri ve önemini ortaya koymak olan çalışmamız üç bölümden müteşekkildir. İlk bölümde günümüze kadar olan tarihi süreçte hüküm sürmüş Türk ve İslâm Devletlerinde toplum emniyetini sağlayan kurum ve kuruluşların ve görevlilerinin varlığı ve bunların geçirdikleri değişim ve gelişimleri Osmanlı Devleti öncesi ve sonrası ve Cumhuriyet Dönemi olmak üzere üç kısımda inceledik. İkinci bölümde Emniyet mensubu yetiştiren Eğitim kurumlarından fiilen eğitimin sürdürüldüğü Ankara Polis Akademisi, Ankara Polis Koleji ve Polis Okullarının kuruluş tarihçelerini ve müfredatlarını ele aldık. Üçüncü bölümde ise, Emniyet mensubu yetiştirilen eğitim kurumlarında Coğrafya Öğretim ve Eğitimi ele alınıp, mesleki açıdan bu eğitimin faydaları üzerinde önemle durulmuştur. Zira, ülkemizin farklı coğrafi özellik ve beşerî faaliyetleri hakkında eğitim sırasında yeterli bilgi edinilmesi personelin görev sırasında karşılaşabileceği fizikî, beşerî ve kültürel sorunlara hazırlıklı olması ve kolaylıkla bunların üstesinden gelebilmesini sağlayacaktır.The Turkish Police Organization has been doing his sacred job since it's foundation, serving for the country and the nation, tied to the Republic. The Constitution and Laws directed with the Atatürk Princeples and Revolutions. From time to time the organization has shown a devotion and self sacrifice under difficult conditions so gained the trust and affection of the nation. Besides the Turkish Police Organization has gained an excluded positon between the World Police Organizations. In our work consisting of three parts, aiming to give the short histories of the Police Education Associations and their curriculum we tried to show the place and the importance of the Geograhpy education. We studied the existence and the development of the foundations and the associations securing the safety of the society which has been existed in the Turkish and Islamic States ruled in history since today, in three parts such as before and after Ottoman State and the Republic period. In the second part of this study we discussed establishing history and the curriculum of the Ankara Police Academy, Ankara Police College and the Police Schools in which education activity is going on. The third part of our work consists of the importance of Geography education in these Police Education associations. The changing geographical conditions and the human activity of our country has been discussed. And besides, the importance of Geography instruction in making the personel ready to solve the possible physical, human and cultural problems which they should face in duty..
