Abstract
Bu çalışmada öncelikle, Hollywood spor filmleri, kendine has özellikleri olan ayrı bir film türü olarak tanımlanmış, devamında ise spor filmlerinin Amerikan rüyası ideolojisi ile ilişkisi Rocky serisi üzerinden incelenmiştir.
Firstly, in this thesis, Hollywood sports movies are identified as a distinct film genre with distinctive features. This is followed by the examination of the relationship between American dream ideology and sports movies using Rocky series as example.
