Tarihi süreç içerisinde Umman ve Türkiye ile ekonomik ilişkileri

Abstract

ÖZETUmman, 1970 yılında kansız bir darbe ile iktidara geçen Sultan Kabus b. Said tarafından Monarşi ile yönetilmektedir. Coğrafi olarak bulunduğu Orta doğu’nun siyasi karmaşasından uzak bir şekilde yoluna devam etmektedir. Umman geçen yüzyıllarda Arabistan'ın güney kıyılarının yanı sıra Hindistan alt kıtası ve Afrika'da da ticari faaliyette bulunup koloniler kurmuş, bölgenin Avrupalıların etkisi altına girmesinden sonra uzun yıllar kapalı ve kısmen kendisine yeterli bir ekonomi olmuştur. 1960’lı yılların ikinci yarısında bulunan petrolün 1970’lerde ihraç edilmesiyle beraber ekonomik olarak yapısal dönüşüm başlamış, petrol ekonominin temeli ve esas gelir kaynağı olmuştur. Türkiye-Umman ekonomik ilişkilerine baktığımızda ise iki ülke arasındaki ticaret hacmi, tarihi ve sosyal ilişkilere rağmen ihmal edilmiş olmakla beraber son on yılda önemli bir artış ivmesi yakalamıştır. “Tarihi Süreç İçerisinde Umman Ve Türkiye İle Ekonomik İlişkileri”konulu tez çalışmamız beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Umman’ın coğrafi durumu ve demografik bilgileri, ikinci bölümde Umman’a İslam’ın gelişi ve İmamet müessesesi, üçüncü bölümde yakın dönem Ummansiyasi yapısının oluşumu ve Sultan Kabus Bin Said’in yönetim anlayışı, dördüncü bölümde Osmanlı-Umman ilişkilerinin tarihi seyri ve bu seyirdeki nirengi noktaları, son olarak beşinci bölümde ise Umman ekonomisinin geneldurumu ve ekonomi içerisindeki başlıca sektörlerin analizi, Umman dış ticareti, Umman-Türkiye ekonomik ilişkileri ve Umman’ın üye olduğu organizasyonlar incelenmeye çalışılmaktadır.

ABSTRACTOman, governs in a Monarchy system by Sultan Kabus B. Said who became to power with a bloodless coup in 1970. It is on its way which away from the political confusion of the Middle East, where it is geograph-ically located. Over the past centuries Oman has been dealing with trade and col-onies in India and Africa, as well as on the southern coast of Arabia and has been closed and partly in itself an adequate economy for many years after the region became influenced by Europeans. With the export of petroleum in 1970s which found in the second half of the 1960s, structural transformation has begun and petroleum be-came the basis of economy and the main source of income. When we look at the economic relations between Turkey and Oman, the trade volume between two countries, despite being neglected in spite of its historical and social relevance, it has caught a significant accelera-tion in the last decade. The name of my thesis study is “Oman in historical process and economic relations with Turkey” and consists with 5 chapters. In first chapter, geographical situation and demographic information were stud-ied. In second chapter, arrival of Islam and Imamet to Oman were ana-lyzed. In third chapter the formation of the near-term political structure of Oman and the management understanding of Sultan Kabus Bin Said were studied. In the fourth chapter, the history of the Ottoman-Oman relations and the points of the triangulation were examined. And in the last chap-ter, the analysis of the general situation of the Oman economy and the dominant sectors, foreign trade of Oman, the economic relations of Oman-Turkey and the organizations that Turkey and Oman is member were studied.
