Abstract
Bu çalışma 19.yy. Osmanlı Devletinin Karaman Eyaleti Ereğli Kazasını kapsamaktadır. Osmanlı Arşivi kaynakları ışığında; Ereğli’nin sosyo-ekonomik yapısı incelenmiştir. Ereğli Kazasının 1840 yılı temettuat sayımlarına dayanılarak, nüfus, servet dağılımı, gelir dağılımı, üretim yapısı, tarımsal yapı, vergiler, hayvan dağılımı gibi ekonomik ve sosyal hayatın temel alanlarıyla ilgili ayrıntılı bilgiler üretilmeye çalışılmıştır.
The study includes the socio-economic structure of the Ereğli region in Karaman Administrative District in Otoman Empire in the 19th Century The socio-economic structure of these regions has been observed in the light of the records of the Otoman Archives. Based on the treasure countings conducted in the region in 1840, it is aimed to obtain detailed information about the basic areas of economic and social life such as population, wealth distribution, productional structure, attributes of the enterprises, agriculturel structure, yearly income and taxes.
