'EGOKAÇ' - SANAT EĞİTİMİNE YANSIMASI - 7. Uluslararası İstanbul Bienali Üzerine Bir İnceleme - Hazırlanan bu çalışma, Batı felsefesinin kurguladığı bireysel ego ve Doğu geleneğinin ulaşılmak istenen son erek olarak belirlediği ben'in dekonstrüksiyonu kavramlarını inceler. Bunu, sanatını doğrudan doğruya kendi ben'ine, kendi yaşamına yönelerek oluşturan sanatçıları konu alarak yapar. Bu noktada 7. Uluslararası İstanbul Bienali - EGOKAÇ: Gelecek Oluşum İçin Ego'dan Kaçış'ı çıkış noktası olarak alır. Tezde yer alan sanatçılar, kişisel tercihle belirlenmiş olup daha çok bedenlerini performatif bir araç olarak kullananlar üzerinde yoğunlaşılmıştır. Bienalde yer alan sanatçılar ve işleri, çalışmada işlenen konularla bağlantılı olarak, yine kişisel bir tercihle belirlenmiştir. Tezde, Batı geleneğinde 'bireysellik', 'eşsiz olma' şeklinde kendini gösteren 'ben' üzerine üretilen söylenlere, Doğu'da bireysellik kabuğunu kırarak kişinin soyutlanma ve sınırlanmalardan kurtulma eğilimi olarak beliren 'ben'in dekonstrüksiyonu kavramına, Batı felsefesinde oluşturulan tikel ve tümel bağlamda özne konumlanışları ve öznenin dilbilimsel yorumlarına yer verilmiştir. Özneyi yabancılaşması ve parçalanmışlığıyla ele alan, bilinçdışına bastırılan materyali ve bastıran gücü yani ego'yu psikolojik açıdan inceleyen psikanaliz çalışmalarına değinilmiştir. Kendini bir merkez olarak alma durumu olan narsisist davranış ve bu anlamda fotograf ve video işleri üreten sanatçılar incelenmiştir. Batı sanat tarihine 'ben' kavramı bağlamında genel olarak bakılmış happening, performance, fluxus, body-art gibi avant-garde oluşumlar geniş olarak incelenmiştir. 'Ben' ve 'öteki' kavramları irdelenmiş, Batı'nın metinlerarası fikirler yoluyla Doğu'yu algıladığı oryantalist söylen ve buna karşıt olarak gelişen multi-kültürel sanat ortamları olarak bienaller incelenmiştir. 7. Uluslararası İstanbul Bienali 'EGOKAÇ': Gelecek Oluşum İçin Ego'dan Kaçış spesifik olarak incelenmiştir. Bienalin etkileri kaplamsal sanat eğitimi ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. The study does this by examining artists who have created their art by directly approaching their own 'I' and their own life. At this point the study usses as a starting point the 7th International İstanbul Bienal - EGOFUGAL: Escape from the Ego for Future Formation. Artists partaking in the study were selected on the basis of individual preference and are predominantly artists which use their body as a tool in the performance arts. The artists who participate in the bienal and their work were also selected in connection with the subjects dealt with and on the basis of individual preference. The study contains an examination of the 'I' which appears as 'individuality' and 'uniqueness' in Western tradition, the deconstruction of the 'I' in the East as a tendency to brake the shell of individuality and free the individual from exclusion and limitations, subject placements created in Western philosophy in an individual and general sense and interpretations of subject from the view point of language science. Psychoanalytical studies are mentioned which deal with the subject in its alienation and fracturedness and axamine the material suppressed in the outer conscious together with the power which suppresses it -the 'ego'. Narcissistic behaviour which places itself into the centre and related to this, artists who produce photography and video Works are examined. Western art history is approached with regard to the expression 'I' and avant-garde formations like happening, performance, fluxus, body-art are examined in broader terms. The terms !I! and 'The Other' are questioned, the oriental way in which the West perceives the East through ideas read between the lines and the bienals which in opposition developed as multi-cultural environments are examined. The 7th International İstanbul Bienal EGOFUGAL: Escape from the 'Ego' for Future Formation is specifically examined. The relationships between the effects of the bienal and comprehensive art are pointed out.
