Malmquist toplam faktör verimlilik endeksi: Türk sigorta sektörü uygulaması

Abstract

Finans sektörüne sağladığı katma değer, yarattığı istihdam ve birçok sektörle etkileşim içinde olması sebebiyle tüm gelişmiş ülkelerde olduğu gibi Türkiye ekonomisi için de bankacılık sektörünün yanı sıra stratejik öneme sahip sektörlerden birisi sigorta sektörüdür. Bu çalışmada Türk Sigorta Sektöründe 2006 2010 döneminde hayat dışı branşlarda faaliyet gösteren 23 sigorta şirketine ait öz kaynaklar, toplam aktifer, alınan primler, dönem net kar (zarar) ve teknik kar değişkenleri kullanılarak, toplam faktör verimlilikleri Malmquist toplam faktör verimlilik endeksi ile hesaplanmıştır.
