Ebelerin iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörlerin analizi

Abstract

1. ÖZET Araştırma, kadın doğum alanında hizmet veren, farklı hastanelerde (devlet,özel ve üniversite hastaneleri) görev yapan ebelerin, mesleki yaşantılarına ilişkin özellikleri belirleyerek bunun iş doyumu üzerine etkisini ortaya koymak, iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörleri analiz etmek ve iş doyumunu belirleyici öneriler getirmek, ebelerin yasal olarak üstlenmek istedikleri bağımsız görevleri saptamak amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırma, Ekim 2006-Nisan 2007 tarihleri arasında, İstanbul ili ile Balıkesir, Kocaeli, Eskişehir il merkezlerinde kadın doğum bölümünde yataklı hizmet veren ve izin alınabilen özel,devlet ve üniversite hastanelerinin tümünde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından literatür doğrultusunda geliştirilen, ebelerin sosyodemografik özelliklerini, mesleki yaşantılarına ilişkin özelliklerini ve yasal olarak üstlenmek istedikleri işlevleri belirlemek amacı ile oluşturulmuş anket formu ve Minessota İş Doyum Ölçeği (Minnesota Job Satısfactıon Questıonnaire) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 13,0 istatistik paket kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Değerlendirmede tek yönlü ANOVA analizi ve z testi kullanılmıştır. ANOVA analizi sonrasında farklılıkların hangi kategorilerde ortaya çıktığını belirlemek amacıyla Tukey HSD testi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre ebelerin iş doyumunun kararsız düzeyde olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ebelerin doyum duydukları unsurların daha çok işin kendisi ile ilgili faktörler olduğu; doyumsuz oldukları unsurların ise ücret ve terfi imkanları olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır 2.

ANALYSIS OF THE FACTORS AFFECTING MIDWIFES’ JOB SATISFACTION The research was designed for the midwives serving in the field of women birth and working in different hospitals (public, private and university hospitals) to understand the characteristics of their job lives, to show the effect of these characteristics on job satisfaction, to analyze the factors affecting job satisfaction and to get some suggestions identifying job satisfaction, and to determine independent tasks which midwives want to undertake legally. The research was carried out in all public, private and university hospitals serving with beds in the department of women birth in province centers of İstanbul, Balıkesir, Kocaeli and Eskişehir between the time period of October of 2006 and April of 2007. Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and the questionnaire developed by the researcher based on the literature to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of midwives, the characteristics of their job lives, and the role midwives want to undertake legally were used for data collection. Gathered data were analyzed by using SPSS 13,0 software (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). In the evaluation of the data, onee way ANOVA analysis anz z test were used. Following ANOVA analysis Tukey HSD test is conducted in order to find out which categories differred from the other. As a result, it is found that the level of job satisfaction of the midwives is neutral. It is indicated that the elements which midwives satisfy with are the factors more related to the job itself, and the elements which they do not satisfy with are payment and promotion opportunities.
