Abstract
Çorlulu Zarifî, on altıncı yüzyılın ikinci yarısı ile on yedinci yüzyıl başlarında yaşamış; bir Divan, Mihr ü Mah adında kısa bir mesnevi ve Rahatü’l-ervah adında oldukça hacimli mensur bir eser kaleme almış bir divan şairidir. Şair, döneminin tezkire yazarları tarafından dikkate alınmamış, bu nedenle Zarifî’nin hayatı, eserleri ve kişiliğiyle ilgili bilgiler günümüze kadar ulaşamamıştır. Araştırmanın temel amaçları, Çorlulu Zarifî Divan’ını şairin elinden çıkmış haline en yakın şekilde ortaya koymak ve kaynaklarda hakkında bilgi verilmeyen, pek de tanınmayan bu şairi tanıtmaktır. Çalışma boyunca, çeşitli kaynaklardan derlenen bilgiler değerlendirilerek eksik kalan noktalar tamamlanmaya ve bazı yanlışlıklar düzeltilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma, “Giriş”, “Çorlulu Zarifî: Hayatı, Edebî Kişiliği ve Eserleri”, “Divan’ının Biçim ve İçerik Özellikleri” ve “Metin” olmak üzere dört ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Sonuç bölümünde ise araştırmanın başından itibaren derlenen bilgiler ve elde edilen veriler değerlendirilerek sonuçlar tartışmaya açılmıştır.
Zarifî of Çorlu is a Divan poet who lived between second half of sixteenth century and the beginning of seventeenth century. He wrote a Divan, a short mathnawi titled Mihr ü Mah and Rahatü'l-ervah, a quite voluminous piece of prose. The poet is not taken into account by contemporary tezkire writers. Hence, we have but little information on his life, personality and works. The primary goals of this study are to present the Divan of Zarifî in a form closest to original and introduce to the public a poet who is not mentioned in the literature and not well known. Throughout the study, information gathered from various resources are evaluated in an effort to complete the missing points and to correct some mistakes. The study comprises four main chapters named: Introduction, Zarifî of Çorlu: His Life, Literary Personality and Works, Textual Analysis of Divan and Text. In the final chapter, information and data presented since the beginning of the study are evaluated and opened to discussion as a conclusion.
