İlköğretim matematik ve fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik özelliklerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Değişimin giderek hızlandığı günümüz dünyasında girişimci bireylere ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Gelecekte toplumu şekillendirecek olan öğretmen adaylarının girişimci bireyler yetiştirebilmesi için kendilerinin de girişimcilik becerisine sahip olması gerekir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim Matematik ve Fen Bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik özelliklerinin farklı değişkenler bağlamında incelemektir. Çalışmanın araştırma grubunu 2021-2022 öğretim senesinde İstanbul’daki üç devlet üniversitede İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği ve Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği sınıflarında okuyan 564 öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma nicel bir araştırmadır ve ilişkisel tarama yöntemi ile tasarlanmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılmış olan veri toplama aracı Deveci ve Çepni (2015)’nin geliştirdiği “Öğretmen Adaylarına Yönelik Girişimcilik” ölçeğiyle araştırmacının geliştirdiği kişisel bilgi formudur. Veri analizinde SPSS 22 analiz kullanılmıştır. Analizin sonucunda, İlköğretim Matematik ve Fen Bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilikle ilgili özelliklerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik ölçeğinden elde edilen en yüksek puan duygusal zekâ alt boyutunda olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik özelliklerinin cinsiyete, devam ettiği üniversiteye, ekonomik durum, akademik başarı ve girişimcilik dersi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği, sınıf düzeyi değişkeni çerçevesinde dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin lehine, yaş değişkeni çerçevesinde 22-25 yaşındaki öğrencilerin lehine olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İlköğretim matematik ile fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik özellikleri arasında istatistiki bakımdan kayda değer farklılık bulunmamış olup, girişimcilik ölçeğinin aritmetik ortalamasına bakıldığında, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının daha yüksek girişimcilik seviyesine sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada eğitim fakültelerinin müfredatına girişimcilik becerisi ile ilgili derslerin zorunlu olarak eklenmesi önerilmektedir.

In today's world where change is accelerating, entrepreneurial individuals are needed. Pre-service teachers who will shape the society in the future should also have entrepreneurial skills in order to raise entrepreneurial individuals. Pre-service teachers, who will shape the society in the future, need to have entrepreneurial skills in order to raise entrepreneurial individuals. The aim of this study is to examine the entrepreneurship characteristics of primary mathematics and science pre-service teachers terms of various variables. The study group of the research consists of 564 pre-service teachers studying in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of Primary Mathematics and Science Teacher Education departments in three state universities in Istanbul in the academic year 2021-2022. The study is a quantitative research and designed with relational survey method. The data collection tool used in the study is the Entrepreneurship Scale for Prospective Teachers developed by Deveci and Çepni (2015) and the personal information form developed by the researcher. SPPS 22 analysis programme was used in data analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the entrepreneurship characteristics of primary mathematics and science pre-service teachers were at a good level. The highest score obtained from the entrepreneurship scale of pre-service teachers was observed in the Emotional Intelligence sub-dimension. It was determined that the entrepreneurship characteristics of primary mathematics and science pre-service teachers did not differ significantly according to the variables of gender, university they attend, economic status, academic success and entrepreneurship course. It was determined that the entrepreneurial characteristics of the primary mathematics and science pre-service teachers are in favor of the fourth grade students within the scope of the grade level variable and the students between the ages of 22-25 within the scope of the age variable. There was no statistically significant difference between the entrepreneurship characteristics of primary mathematics and science pre-service teachers and when the arithmetic mean of the entrepreneurship scale was considered, it was determined hat pre-service science teachers had a higher level of entrepreneurship. In this study, it is suggested that courses related to entrepreneurship skills should be added to the curriculum of Faculties of Education as compulsory.
