VII. (XIII.) Yüzyılda siyer yazıcılığı

Abstract

VII. (XIII.) Yüzyılda Siyer Yazıcılığı başlığını taşıyan bu çalışmada, öncelikle bu dönemin müelliflerinin siyer ilminin gelişimine katkıları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hicrî VII. asırda eser telif eden müelliflerin tespitiyle başlanılan bu araştırmada, VII. asırda yazılan eserler üzerinden VII. (XIII.) asrın siyer ilmine katkısı ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Nihai tahlilde söz konusu dönemin müellifleri ve eserleri incelenirken gelenek içerisinde bir konumlandırma uğraşına gidilmiş ve bu dönemin müellifleri erken dönem siyer kaynaklarıyla mukayeseli bir okuma çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Söz konusu bu okuma ve tetkikler, aynı zamanda modern dönemde siyer yazıcılığıyla alakalı ortaya çıkan problemler etrafında ciddi bir okumaya tabi tutulmuş ve modern dönem araştırmacılarının öne sürdüğü sorunlar göz önünde bulundurularak yer yer müellifler incelenmiştir. Netice itibariyle VII. (XIII.) asır siyer yazıcılığı temsili yüksek eserler üzerinden incelenerek ele alınmış ve bu dönemle alakalı tespitler sonuç kısmında ifade edilmiştir. Son olarak siyer yazıcılığında eksik görülen hususlar hakkında öneriler sunulmuştur.

The primary purpose of this thesis, carrying the title “Sira Writing in the Seventh (Thirteenth) Century” is to identify the the contemporary Sira authors’ contributions to the development of the Sira tradition. In this study which starts with locating the authors who compiled books in the seventh century of hijra, the contributions made in this age was shown through the books compiled in the field. In the final analysis, the contemporary authors and their works were attempted to be situated in the large tradition and were evaluated in a comparative manner. These analyses were made in association with the modern scholarly debates on Sira writing and the contemporary Sira authors were examined in the light of the modern problematics. Consequently, seventh (thirteenth) century Sira writing were examined through the works which ensures strong representation and the results were indicated in the conclusion part. Lastly, some suggestions about the missing points in the literature were put forward.
