20. yüzyıldan günümüze resim sanatında simetrik ve asimetrik değerlerin kullanılması

Abstract

Çok geniş bir kullanım alanına sahip ve bir çok disiplinin sınırlarına dahil olan bir olguyu ifade eden simetri, sanatçıları da ilgilendirir. Simetri, simetri çeşitleri ve simetriyi referans alan kavramlar, asimetri, asimetri çeşitleri, 20. yüzyıldan günümüze simetrik ve asimetrik değerlerin kullanılması incelenip resim sanatına ne kadar etkili olduğu tespit edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Simetrinin biçimleri, yöntemleri, kullanım alanları, farklılıkları ve algı psikolojisi belirlenip görsel anlatımda kullanım nedenleri ve bu nedenlerin ne şekilde ortaya çıktığı, resim sanatında bu değerlerin nasıl kullanıldığının gösterilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çok farklı anlam ve kavramlar içeren simetri hakkında edinilecek bilgilerin özellikle güzel sanatlar alanında eğitim alan öğrencilere önemli bir kaynak olacağı düşünülmektedir. Sanat tarihi ve diğer alanlarda konu ile ilgili yazılmış olan yerli ve yabancı literatür taraması yapılarak bilgiler elde edilecek, konuya açıklık getirecek eserler seçilip yorumlanacaktır.

Symmetry, which expresses a phenomenon that has a wide range of usage and is included in the boundaries of many disciplines, also interests artists. It is thought that the information to be obtained about symmetry, which contains many different meanings and concepts, will be an important resource, especially for students studying in the field of fine arts. Information will be obtained by scanning local and foreign literature on the subject in art history and other fields, and works that will clarify the subject will be selected and interpreted.
