Abstract
Malignancies of various kinds may be associated with connective tissue diseases, especially dermato-polymyositis, Sjogren's syndrome, and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In primary malignancies, musculoskeletal system complaints arise directly as a result of the invasion of the bones or joints by tumor metastasis, or indirectly in the form of a paraneoplastic syndrome. The fact that polyarthritis is the presenting symptom in paraneoplastic syndrome can complicate the clinical nature. In this paper, the case of a patient who was first consulted because of polyarthritis of the lower extremities and was diagnosed as carnimatous polyarthritis due to Pancoast tumor after detailed investigations and was followed up for four years is presented.
