Abstract
Bu araştırmada 6., 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin çevreselsorumlu vatandaş davranışlarını ne düzeyde sergilediklerini ve bu davranışların çeşitli değişkenlere göreanlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemekamaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ÇevreselSorumlu Vatandaş Davranışları Ölçeği aracılığıyla eldeedilmiştir. Araştırmaya Eskişehir il merkezindeki 12ilköğretim okulunda öğrenim gören 2007 öğrencikatılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerinin analizinde frekans,aritmetik ortalama, ilişkisiz örneklemler t-testi ve tekyönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmasonucunda ilköğretim öğrencilerinin çevresel sorumluvatandaş davranışlarının orta düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca ilköğretim öğrencilerinin çevresel sorumluvatandaş davranışı düzeyleri arasında sınıf, akademikbaşarı, bir çevresel etkinliğe katılma, eko okul öğrencisiolma değişkenleri açısından anlamlı fark olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study aimed to investigate whether the 6th, 7th and 8 th grade students’ environmentally responsible citizen behaviors in terms of various variables. The descriptive survey model was adopted in the study. The data was collected via The Environmentally Responsible Citizen Behavior Scale developed by the researchers. The participants were 2007 students from 12 primary schools in Eskisehir city center. The data was analyzed using frequency, arithmetic mean, unrelated samples ttest and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). As a result, it was determined that the primary school students had a high level of environmentally responsible behavior. Also it was found there was a significant difference among the students’ environmentally responsible citizen behavior levels in terms of grade, academic achievement, participation in an environmental activity and being an eco-school student.
