Identifying technical specifications of industrial heat treatment furnaces

Abstract

ENDÜSTRİYEL ISIL İŞLEM FIRINLARININ TEKNİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ Endüstriyel ısıl işlem fırınları günlük hayatta kullandığımız birçok metal ürünlerinin imalatında özellikle de metallerin fiziksel özelliklerini değiştirmek için kullanılıyor. Bu tip fırınlarda ürünün kalitesi için teorik olarak sıcaklığın fırın boyuna olan eğrisi ile sıcaklığın zamana olan eğrisi aynı olması gerekiyor. Bunun için öncelikle fırın isterlerinin net bir şeklide belirlenerek sıcaklığın fırın boyuna olan eğrisi belirlenmeli ve analitik olarak Fourier serileri ve Bessel fonkisyonları kullanılarak kararsız haller için ısı transfer denklemleri ile sıcaklığın zamana olan eğrisi hesaplanabilir. Sıcaklığın zamana olan eğrisi hesaplandıktan sonra ısıtma sistemi seçimi, izolasyon seçimi gibi fırın teknik özelliklerini belirlenebilir. 09, 2011Levent SİNDEL

IDENTIFYING TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF INDUSTRIAL HEAT TREATMENT FURNACES Industrial heat treatment furnaces are used to produce metal products we are using daily life, especially to change physical properties of metals. Theoretically, the temperature versus length of a furnace should be the same as the temperature versus time for product quality of this kind of furnaces. Firstly, temperature versus length of furnace should be identified according to clearly determined furnace specifications and Fourier series and Bessel functions can be used to solve analytically of unsteady state, heat transfer functions in order to calculate temperature curve versus time. Furnace technical specifications such as heating system selection, isolation material can be designated after calculating of temperature curve versus time.
