Abstract

İnsanlığın varoluşundan bu yana temel bir mesele olan eğitim, yüzyıllar boyunca önemini sürdürmüş ve sürdürmektedir. Kültür ve gelenekle şekillenerek zamana ve coğrafyaya bağlı olarak değişen eğitim sistemleri Türk toplumunda da gerek şifahi kültürle gerek İslamiyet ile birlikte başlayan ve resmî denilebilecek eğitim sistemiyle asırlar boyunca değişerek ve gelişerek, içinde bulunduğu devrin ihtiyaçlarına bağlı olarak varlığını sürdürmüştür.

Since the inception of social life among humans, education has been and still is an issue that holds critical importance. In accordance with the time period of its existence and the geography of its origins, educational methods that has been shaped by culture and tradition among Turkish people, be it through oral tradition or the introduction of Islam, has sustained itself to this day.
