Abstract
Atasözleri ve deyimler milli tarihimiz boyunca zaman zaman değişerek, zaman zaman gelişerek bu günlere kadar ulaşmış önemli dil yapılarımızdandır. Özellikle Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönemlerinde önemi anlaşılmış olan bu dil yapılarıyla ilgili pek çok derleme eser yazılmıştır. Türk Dil Kurumu Kütüphanesine Etüt/ 104-1 ve Etüt/ 104-2 numaraları ve Atalar Sözü adıyla kaydedilen Abdülhalim Hakkı’nın iki ciltlik eseri de bu derlemelerden biridir. Çalışmamızda bu eserin birinci cildinin 641-737. sayfaları ele alınmıştır. Çalışma; Giriş ve Yöntem, Çelebioğlu Abdulhalim Hakkı ve Atalar Sözü Mecmuası, Metin, Dizin, Sonuç ve Teklifler, Kaynaklar ve Ekler olmak üzere yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Atalar Sözü Mecmuası, Osmanlı elifbası ile yazılmış ayrıca rika hatlı bir yazmadır. Mecmuanın yazımına 1898 Ağustos 22’den başlanmış, 1920 Kasım 12’ye kadar devam edilmiştir. Eserin asıl metin kısmı; atasözü, deyim, vecize, mısra, beyit dua, alkış gibi yapılardan oluşan madde başları ve bu madde başlarına verilen açıklamalar, bazı madde başlarında geçen kelimelerin farklı imlaları ve bazı madde başlarını içeren alıntılardan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; metni oluşturan, Osmanlı elifbası ile yazılmış madde başları, açıklamalar ve alıntılar tespit edilerek Türkiye Türkçesine aktarılmış; alıntıların yazımı ise çeviri yazı ile yapılmıştır. Kaynak metinde geçen farklı imlalar çeşitli sözlüklerden tespit edilerek dipnotta gösterilmiş, Türkiye Türkçesinde kullanılmayan kelimelerin anlamları notlanmıştır. Alıntılar ekseriyetle birincil kaynaklardan incelenerek tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda eserden daha kolay faydalanılması için bir dizin oluşturulmuştur.
Proverbs and idioms used in almost every work since the Orkhon Inscriptions, the first written documents of our literature, are cultural and linguistic structures that have developed, changed and enriched from past to present. Many compilations have been made about these language structures, whose importance was understood in the last periods of the Ottoman Empire. The two-volume work of Abdülhalim Hakkı, recorded in the Turkish Language Association Library under the numbers Etüt/ 104-1 and Etüt/ 101-2 and the name Atalar Söz, is one of these compilations. Atalar Söz Mecmuası is a manuscript written in Ottoman alphabet and also with rika calligraphy. The writing of the magazine started on 22 August 1898 and continued until 12 November 1920. The main text part of the work; It consists of headings consisting of structures such as proverbs, idioms, aphorisms, verses, couplets, prayers, applause, and the explanations given to these headings, different spellings of the words in some headings, and quotations containing some headings. In this study; The headings, explanations and quotations written in Ottoman alphabet that make up the text were identified and translated into Turkey Turkish; The quotations were written in translation. Different spellings in the source text were determined from various dictionaries and shown in footnotes, and the meanings of words not used in Turkey Turkish were noted. Quotations were determined by examining mostly primary sources. At the end of the study, an index was created to make it easier to benefit from the work..
