Birleştirme II Tekniği ile Oluşturulan İşbirliğine Dayalı Öğrenme Ortamının Öğrenciler Üzerindeki Etkisi: Kartal Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi'nde Bir Durum Çalışması

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Birleştirme II Tekniği’yle oluşturulan işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme ortamının öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma, doğal ortamda, nitel (örnek olay teori testi) ve nicel araştırma yaklaşımı birlikte kullanılarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kartal Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi Tesviye Bölümü’nün Sağlık Eğitimi Programı kapsamında ‘Kanamalarda İlkyardım’ kursunu alan 34 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda, görüşme ve gözlemle elde edilen veriler, yapılandırılmış raporlama yöntemiyle analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda, ön-test ve son-test ile elde edilen veriler, bağımlı gruplar t testi ile analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Birleştirme II Tekniği’yle oluşturulan işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme ortamının, önhazırlık süreci hariç, öğrenciler üzerinde olumlu etkisinin olduğu sonucuna varılabilir.

The main purpose of this research was to determine the effects of the Jigsaw II Technique on students in a cooperative learning environment. The research was carried out in a natural atmosphere through qualitative (case study, theory testing) and quantitative research techniques. The subjects were 34 students studying at the Moulding Department, Kartal Vocational Training Center and taking the course “First Aid in Bleeding Cases” as a part of the Health Education Program. A qualitative approach was taken with data gathered from observations and interviews being analyzed and interpreted through a structured report technique. With respect to the quantitative method of the research, the data gathered from pretest-posttest were analyzed and interpreted using a dependent sample T test. Results suggest there is a positive effect with the Jigsaw II Technique, other than with the preparatory work, on the students in a cooperative learning atmosphere.
