Publication: Arketipler bağlamında dijital psikoloji
Abstract
Bu tez çalışması sosyal yaşantıyı ve birey psikolojisini anlamlandırmamızda önemli bir yeri olan Jung’un arketip kavramının siber uzamdaki yansımalarını aramaya çalışmaktadır. Tezde analitik bir çalışma yürütülmeye çalışılmış ve farklı disiplinler, kavramlar, terimler arasındaki ilişkiler nitel bir şekilde irdelenmiş, incelenmiştir. Tezin ana sorusunu “Arketip oluşumlarını siber uzamda da görebilir miyiz?” sorunsalı oluşturmaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra arketiplerin siber uzamdaki oluşumlarının nasıl gerçekleştiği, arketiplerin siber uzamdaki yansımalarının değişikliğe uğrayıp uğramadığı ve arketiplerin siber uzamdaki birey davranışlarında etkili olup olmadığı sorularına da cevap aranmaktadır. Soruların geniş çerçevesi bireylerin siber uzamdaki psikolojik yapıları ile ilişkilidir. Günümüzde ise bireyin siber uzamdaki psikolojik yapısını kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alan disiplinin siber-psikoloji olduğu söylenebilir. Tezin ulaşmaya çalıştığı nihai sonuç siberpsikolji ile arketip kuramının birleşimi ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu sebeple tezin çerçevesini bu iki kavram ve aralarındaki ilişki oluşturmaktadır. Arketiplerin bireyin derinliklerindeki psişik süreçlerde var olması ve oldukça genel, evrensel yönelimlere hitap etmesi bu psişik süreçlerin siber uzamdaki birey psikolojisinde de yansıması olabileceği çıkarımına ulaştırmaktadır. İki kavram ve teori arasındaki bu bulguya ulaşabilmek için nitel analiz çalışması tercih edilmiştir. Bu analitik çalışma yürütülürken mutlak ve kesin doğrulardan kaçınılmış, potansiyel içeren varsayımlar ve öneriler ön plana çıkarılmıştır. Buna ek olarak tez yeni bir disiplin olan siber-psikolojinin genel bir tanımı yapmaktadır. Türkçe literatürde siber-psikolojinin neredeyse hiç ele alınmamış olması ve tezde bu disiplinin farklı açılardan tanımının yapılması tez çalışmasında önem arz edebilecek bir diğer husustur.
This thesis is trying to search for the reflections of Jung's archetype concept, which has an important place in our understanding of social life and individual psychology, in cyberspace. In the thesis, an analytical study was tried to be carried out and the relations between different disciplines, concepts and terms were analysed and examined in a qualitative way. The main question of the thesis is Can we see archetype formations in cyberspace?. In addition, answers are sought to the questions of how archetypes are formed in cyberspace, whether the reflections of archetypes in cyberspace have changed, and whether archetypes are effective in individual behaviors in cyberspace. The broad framework of theese questions are related to the psychological structures of individuals in cyberspace. Today, it can be said that the discipline that comprehensively deals with the psychological structure of the individual in cyberspace is cyberpsychology. The final result that the thesis is trying to reach is tried to be explained with the combination of cyberpsychology and archetype theory. The fact that archetypes exist in the psychic processes in the depths of the individual and appeal to quite general, universal orientations leads to the conclusion that these psychic processes may also be reflected in the psychology of the individual in cyberspace. In order to reach this finding between the two concepts and theories, a qualitative analysis study was preferred. While conducting this analytical study, absolute and definitive truths were avoided, and assumptions and suggestions containing potential were emphasised. In addition, the thesis provides a general definition of cyberpsychology, which is a new discipline. The fact that cyberpsychology is almost never discussed in the Turkish literature and the definition of this discipline from different perspectives in the thesis is another issue that may be important in the thesis study.
