Hegemonya, kriz ve Türk medyasına yansımaları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, önemli ve kapsamlı bir siyasal teori olan hegemonya teorisi temel alınarak, Türkiye’deki hegemonya süreçleri gözden geçirilmiştir. Çalışmanın içerisinde Türkiye siyasal tarihindeki iki önemli hegemonya süreci olan Kemalizm ve Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi’nin hegemonya stratejileri hem ideolojik hem pratik olarak, hegemonya teorileri içerisindeki genel dinamikler de göz önüne alınarak incelenmiştir. Bunun yanında Türkiye medyasının hegemonyanın bir rıza üretim aracı olarak işlevi tartışılmıştır. Özellikle AKP hegemonyasının seyri ve başlangıcından bugününe olan farklılıkları saptanmıştır. Bu saptama için metodolojik olarak arşiv çalışması yapılmış ve bu çalışmada 2010 ve 2017 yıllarında yapılan referandumların bir ay öncesindeki sürecinde gazetelerin söylem, haber ve manşet analizleri yapılmıştır.

In this study, hegemonic processes in Turkey are reviewed on based of the hegemony theory which is fundamental and comprehensive political theory. Inside of this study, two important hegemonic processes in political history of Turkey, Kemalism and JDP’s hegemonic strategies are examined both ideologically and practically in context of the hegemony theories. It is also discussed, Turkish Media’s function as a manufacturing consent apparatus. Especially, it is aimed to state the differences of JDP’s policies in its hegemonic strategies in the course of its political power. Methodologically archive study was done and in this archive study, during the period of one month before the referendums held in 2010 and 2017, the discourses, news and headlines of the newspapers were analyzed.
