Ebeveynlerin Özel Okul Öncesi Kurum Seçimlerine İlişkin Tercihlerinin Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemleri İle Stratejik Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; özel okul öncesi kurum seçimi ile ilgili kriterlere ebeveynlerin verdikleri önem düzeylerini tespit etmek,bu önem düzeylerine göre özel okul seçimi ile ilgili yaptıkları tercihlerin sıralamasını belirleyerek bu doğrultuda bir model ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada “Çok Kriterli Karar Verme” yöntemlerinden “Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018–2019 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ilinin 3 merkez ilçesinde yer alan özel okul öncesi kurumlarda çocuğu olan 11 ebeveyn oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak 6 ana kriter ve 34 alt kriterden oluşan karşılaştırma matrisleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda ebeveynlerin özel okul öncesi kurum seçimi için belirledikleri kriterler; yabancı dil eğitimi, personelin ebeveyn ve çocuklara olan tutumları, güvenlik, yemekhane hijyeni, çocuğun gelişimi konusunda düzenli bilgilendirme yapılması ve okul ücreti olarak bulunmuştur

The aim of this study is to; to determine the level of importance parents attach to the criteria related to the choice of private preschool institution, to determine the order of the choices they make regarding the choice of private school according to these importance levels and to present a model in this direction. The "Analytical Hierarchy Process" model, one of the "Multiple Criteria Decision Making" methods, was used in the study. The sample of the study consisted of 11 parents who had children in private pre-school institutions located in 3 central districts of Istanbul in the 2018- 2019 academic year. In this research, comparison matrices consisting of 6 main criteria and 34 sub-criteria were used as data collection tools. As a result of the research, the criteria determined by the parents for the selection of private preschool institutions; foreign language education, staff's attitudes towards parents and children, safety, cafeteria hygiene, regular information on the development of the child and school fees.
