Abstract

ÇOCUKLARI MESLEK LİSESİNDE ÖĞRENCİ OLAN AİLELERİN GELİŞİMİNDE OKULUN ETKİSİ Değişen ve sürekli gelişen dünyamızda, henüz sosyal gelişimlerini tamamlayamayan, gündemi ve yenilikleri takip edebilecek kültürel seviyeye gelememiş, hatta okuma yazma bilmeyen velilerin olduğunu kabul etmeliyiz. Çağın bu kadar gerisinde kalarak böyle bir dünyada çocuk yetiştirmek durumunda kalan velilerimiz zor durumdadır. Televizyon programları ve haberler dışında dış dünya ile hiçbir ilişkisi olmayan, bunun yanında çok ciddi ekonomik sıkıntı içinde olan veliler, çocuklarını koruma ve yetiştirme konusunda eksikliklerinin farkındadırlar. Bunun çaresi olarak çocuklarını güvendikleri bir kurum olan okullara emanet etmişlerdir. Ancak evde, aile ile pekiştirilmeyen bir kazanımın, öğrenci için kalıcı olması beklenemez. Bu anlamda okullar, sadece öğrencilerin eğitimlerini üstlenmekle kalmamalı, velilerin yetersiz oldukları alanları da tespit ederek onların da gelişimlerine katkı sağlamaları gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmanın evrenini, 2009-2010 Eğitim Öğretim yılında, İstanbul ili Maltepe ilçesinde meslek liselerinde okuyan 10., 11. ve 12. sınıf öğrenci velileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise; belirtilen evrenden rastgele seçilen meslek liselerinde öğenim gören 300 adet 10., 11. ve 12. sınıf öğrenci velileri oluşturmaktadır. Deneklere uygulanan anketlerden elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS istatistik kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular için tablolar oluşturulmuş ve yorumlanmıştır. veli, gelişim, okul
