Publication: Türkiye’deki spor gazetecilerinin meslek ahlakına bakışları
Abstract
Bu çalışmada dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye'de de kitleleri peşinden sürükleyen sporu ana teması olarak işleyen ve sporla ilgili olayları ve gelişmeleri halka ulaştıran Spor Basınının Türkiye'deki genel işleyişi ve bu işleyişte meslek etiği bağlamında gerçekleşen sorunlar irdelenmiştir. Çalışmamız Kuramsal(Teorik) ve Uygulama(Anket) bölümü olmak üzere iki ayrı sınıflamadan oluşmaktadır. Kuramsal bölüm ana başlığı altında 4 alt başlıktan oluşmaktadır. olan Genel kavramlar ve tanımlar başlığı altında, iletişim ile ilgili genel kavramlar, medya ve genel olarak spor olgusu ve medya birlikteliği incelenmiştir. İkinci bölüm olan Türkiye'de Spor Basını başlığı altında Yazılı spor basınının doğuşu ve gelişimi genel hatlarıyla anlatılmış, yazılı ve görsel basınında sporun genel görünümü ve spor basınının görevleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm olan Türkiye'de Spor Gazeteciliği Mesleği başlığı altında spor gazeteciliğinin genel tanımı yapılmış, ülkemizde spor gazeteciliği mesleğinin uygulamada nasıl icra edildiği ve spor gazeteciliği denilince akla gelen spor yazarlığı ve spor muhabirliği kısaca anlatılmıştır. Kuramsal kısımda dördüncü bölüm olan Ahlak Kavramı Açısından Spor Gazeteciliği başlığı altında genel olarak ahlak kavramından bahsedilmiş ve Türkiye'de spor basınında cereyan eden belli başlı etik sorunlar incelenmiştir. Uygulama bölümü ise 24 soruluk bir anket değerlendirmesinden oluşmaktadır. Uygulama bölümünde Türkiye'de Ulusal çaptaki gazetelerin spor servislerinde ve spor gazetelerinde çalışan spor gazetecilerinin spor basınında meslek ahlakı bağlamında gerçekleşen etik sorunlara bakışları incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızın kuramsal kısmında bahsettiğimiz ve hipotezlerimizi oluşturan etik sorunlar, çeşitli gazetelerde çalışan spor gazetecilerinin mesleki etik anlayışlarını ortaya koyan uygulama bölümündeki sonuçlara göre doğrulanmıştır. The general performance of sports pres in turkey, discussing the sports, a great deal of people follow in Turkey as all the world do, as a main theme and transmitting the events and news about sports, and its problems about Professional ethics while doing its job are considered in this study. Our study comprises two classifications; the first one is theoretical and the other one is application (questionnaire). Theoretical part includes four sub-headings under the main heading called General İnformation. The general consepts related to communication, media, the sports fact as a general concept and med,a cooperation are considered in the first part, general concepts and definitions. In the second part, under the heading called Sports Press in Turkey, very detailed information is given about how written sports was born and developed, and general aspects of sports in written and visual press and duties of sports pres are also informed. In the third part, under the heading called Sports Press Profession in Turkey, a general definition of sports press is given and how sports press profession is carried out in practice; and sports journalist and sports reporter, who are the most important people in sports journalism, are described shortly. In the fourth part of the theoretical section called Sports Press from the point of ethics, the term of ethics is given and main ethical problems in the sports press in Turkey are narrated. Application part includes the evaluation of a questionnaire which has got 24 questions. In this part, the views of sports reporters, who work in the sports services of national papers and sports papers in Turkey, about ethical professional problems that happen in the sports press were studied. The ethical problems, mentioned in the theoretical part of the study and comprising our hypothesis, are verified according to the results in the application part in which there are Professional ethical view of sports reporters who work in various papers. The ethical views of sports reporters are different according to what newspaper they work for.
