Publication: Türk bankacılık sektöründe altının yeri ve önemi
Abstract
Bankacılık sektöründe ürün çeşitliliğinin artması ile birlikte, tasarruf ve yatırım aracı olarak kullanılan altın, ülkemizde altına dayalı finansal araçların kullanımının artmasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Yastıkaltı diye tabir edilen altınların finansal sisteme entegre edilmesi ile birlikte bankaların sisteme giren altınları kaynak olarak kullanmalarına olanak sağlanmıştır.Özellikle bankalar aracılığı ile gram altın alım satımı yapılması ve kıymetli maden depo hesapları ile altınların kaydi bir şekilde ekonomiye kazandırıldığı açıkça görülmektedir. 2011 yılından itibaren TCMB’nin zorunlu karşılıkları altın olarak tutulması ile ilgili kararı, bankaların altın ürünlerini çeşitlendirip, yatırımcının ilgisini çekmeyi sağlamıştır. Toplumun güvenli liman olarak baktığı altın ürünü, sadece tasarruf aracı olmaktan çıkıp, yatırımcı için ilgi çeken bir ürün haline gelmiştir. Bankalar, kıymetli maden depo hesaplarını arttırarak likiditelerinde esneklik sağlayıp maliyet kalemlerini azaltmışlardır.
With the increase in product diversity in the banking sector, gold, which is used as a saving and investment tool, has contributed to the increase of the use of financial instruments based on gold in our country. Banks increased their precious metal deposit account and provided flexibility in their liquidity and reduced their cost items.
