MAÂRİF SALNÂMELERİNE GÖRE URFA SANCAĞI’NDA EĞİTİM VE ÖĞRETİM(H.1316-1321/M.1898-1904)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Maârif Salnâmeleri’nde yer alan veriler doğrultusunda Urfa Sancağı’nda eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleriele alınmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yönteminde tasarlanmış olup doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılarakulaşılan veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile değerlendirilmişir. Bu amaçla H.1316-1321/M.1898-1904(H.1320/M.1902-1903 tarihli Maârif Salnâmesi günümüze kadar tesadüf edilemediği için hariç) tarihli salnâmelerincelenip Urfa Sancağı’nda mevcut okullar, bu okullardaki idareciler, öğretmenler, okutulan dersler, öğrenci vehademe sayıları ele alınmıştır. Aynı zamanda Urfa’da bulunan medreseler, bulundukları yerler, medreselerde görevlimüderrisler, talebe sayısı, medresenin kurucusu hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Ayrıca Gayrimüslim azınlık okullarınınne zaman açıldıkları, adlarına ruhsat verilip verilmediği üzerinde durulmuştur. Üstelik Urfa’da açılan kütüphanelerincelenerek ne zaman kuruldukları ve kaç adet kitaba sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir.

İn this study, the education and training activities at Urfa Sanjak has been approached in the line of date taking part in Yearsbooks. The research was designed in qualitative research method and the data obtained by using document analysis technique was evaluated with descriptive analysis method. İn this purpose H.1316-1321/M.1898-1904 (H.1320/M.1902-1903 excep as couldn’t reach today) after analyzing these yearsbooks and then existing schools, managers working there, teachers, the lessons that are thought there, srudents and jonitors numbers are handled. Also some information about Medresas existing in Urfa, their places, Mudarrises working at those medresas, students and prampter’s numbers are given. Also, some information about whwn non-muslim schools are founded and whether they had certificate of approval or not are painted. On the top of all as analyzing the libraries which were opened in Urfa, we can make firm when they established and how many boks they have got.
