Abstract
Bu araştırma temel olarak üniversite öğrenimine devam eden öğrencilerin medya okuryazarlıkları ile beslenme
okuryazarlıkları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. İlişkisel tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı
araştırmada 2020-2021 akademik yılında İstanbul’da bir devlet üniversitesindeki Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim
gören ve rastgele yöntemle seçilen 127’si kadın toplam 142 öğrenci çalışma grubunu oluşturmaktadır.
Öğrencilerden toplanan verilerin tümü SPSS 26.0 programına aktarılarak istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır.
Betimsel istatistiklerine göre öğrencilerin beslenme ve medya okuryazarlık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu
bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin, beslenme okuryazarlık düzeyleri ile medya okuryazarlık düzeyleri arasında pozitif
yönlü ve güçlü derecede anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin medya okuryazarlık düzeyleri
yükseldikçe, beslenme okuryazarlığı düzeyleri de yükselmektedir. Öğrencilerin medya okuryazarlık
düzeylerindeki artışın beslenme okuryazarlığını da pozitif yönde etkilediği (ilişki olduğu) düşünüldüğünde; tüm
öğrencileri kapsayan ve medya okuryazarlığı konusunda onların daha bilinçli olmalarını sağlayacak, ders,
seminer, broşür ve çeşitli etkinliklerin düzenlenmesinin faydalı olacağı düşünülebilir.

This research basically aims to examine the relationship between media literacy and nutritional literacy of university students. In the study in which the relational screening method was used, the study group consisted of 142 students, 127 of whom were women, studying at a state university in İstanbul, faculty of education in the 2020-2021 academic years and selected randomly. All of the data collected from the students were transferred to the SPSS 26.0 program and statistical analyzes were made. According to descriptive statistics, it was found that students' nutrition and media literacy levels were high. It has been determined that there is a positive and strongly significant relationship between students' nutritional literacy levels and media literacy levels. As students' media literacy levels increase, their nutritional literacy levels also increase. Considering that the increase in students' media literacy levels positively affects nutritional literacy (there is a relationship); It can be thought that it would be beneficial to organize lectures, seminars, brochures and various activities that involve all students and that will make them more conscious about media literacy.
