Avrupa Birliği’ne uyum sürecinde Bulgaristan bankacılık sistemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Avrupa Birliği'ne uyum sürecinde Bulgaristan bankacılık sektörünü incelemektir. Avrupa Birliğine aday olan ve 2007 yılında tam üyeliği hedefleyen Bulgaristan bankacılık sektörünü incelemek, Türkiye açısından da aday olması durumunda bankacılık sektöründe yapması gereken düzenlemeler açısından faydalı olacağını düşünüyorum. Çalışmamın birinci bölümde Avrupa Toplulukları'ndan Avrupa Birliği'ne giden yol ve Avrupa Birliği'nin genişlemesi incelenmiş, Avrupa bankacılık sistemi genel yapısı, mevzuatlar ve Avrupa Merkez Bankası değerlendirilmiştir. İkinci bölümde kısaca Bulgaristan'ın genel ekonomik durumdan bahsedilmiştir. Ayrıntılı olarak ise geçmişten bu güne kadar Bulgaristan bankacılık sektörü incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde kısaca Bulgaristan Avrupa Birliği ilişkilerinden bahsedilmiştir ve ayrıntılı olarak Avrupa Birliği'ne tam üyelik sürecinde bankacılık sektöründe yapılan ve yapılması gereken düzenlemeler ele alınmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise 1990 yılından sonra Bulgaristan'da yapılan reformlar gözden geçirilmiştir. The goal of this study is researching the banking sector of Bulgaria through its entegration process to the European Union. Bulgaria is candidate member and she is aiming a full membership on 2007. This study would be helpfull in order to clarify the changes needed in the banking sector in case of Turkey's membership candidation. The first chapter of this study is examining the way of transformation from European Communities to the European Union, its expanding process, the general structure of the European banking sector, the regulations and the European Central Bank. The second chapter is including the brief research of Bulgarian economic situation and detailed review of Bulgarian banking sector since past to now. The third chapter is a brief examine of Bulgarian-European Union relations and detailed research of the compulsory regulations made and these of process of making in the Bulgarian banking sector during the entegration period. The final chapter includes the reforms in Bulgaria since 1990.
