Abstract

Results: It is seen that the application of lean management philosophy in the decision-making processes of healthcare managers produces positive results; however, it has also been determined that important problems such as resistance of employees to change, lack of awareness and change taking time are encountered in this process. Conclusion: Integrating lean management philosophy into decision-making processes by healthcare managers makes significant contributions to increasing institutional efficiency, service quality and patient satisfaction. However, in order for this process to be carried out successfully, managers need to develop change management skills, adopt a strategic mindset and develop practices that will ensure active participation of employees in the process.
