Publication: Tonal işitsel beyin sapı davranım odyometrisi ile odyogram eşiklerinin karşılaştırılması
Abstract
Bu çalışmada 500-1000-2000-4000 Hz tone burst uyaran kullanılarak, İşitsel Beyin Sapı Davranımı(ABR) ölçümleri yapılmış, normal işiten kişilere dair normal değerlerin bulunması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, 20-30 ve 30-40 yaş arası olmak üzere iki ayrı yaş grubu kullanılmış ve yaşın etkisi araştırılmıştır. 20-30 yaş ve 30-40 yaş grupları karşılaştırıldığında, iki grup arasındaki istatiksel fark anlamlı bulunmamıştır. Cinsiyetin etkisini araştırmak için kadın ve erkek denekler eşit sayıda alınmıştır. Kadın ve erkek grupları arasında istatiksel fark anlamlı bulunmamıştır. Kulaklar arası farklılıkları araştırmak için sağ ve sol kulak çalışmaya dahil edilmiş ve kulaklar arası farklılıklar araştırılmıştır. İki kulak arasında istatiksel fark anlamlı bulunmamıştır. 20-37 yaş arası, normal işiten 20 deneğin ABR ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Her bir deneğin V. dalga eşiği ve tüm şiddet düzeylerindeki V. dalga ortalama latans değerleri ile standart sapmaları hesaplanmıştır. Minimum şiddet düzeyinde elde edilen ABR değerleri ile odyogram bulguları karşılaştırılmıştır. ABR eşik seviyeleri , saf ses eşiklerinden daha yüksek elde edilmiştir. ABR ve odyogram eşikleri arasındaki fark 500 Hz için 23 dB, 1000 Hz için 20,5 dB, 2000 Hz için 15,5 dB, 4000 Hz için 10,5 dB'dir. Ölçümler tek kanallı kayıt tekniği kullanılarak yapılmıştır.
COMPARİSON OF TONE ABR THRESHOLDS AND AUDIOGRAM THRESHOLDS. In this study , Auditory Brainstem Response test was applied by using 500-1000-2000-4000 Hz tone burst stimuli. The purpose was to obtain values for normally hearing people and to set normative data. Values that are obtained were compared with audiogram values. In this study two different group of ages, 20-30 and 30-40, were being used to search the effects of age on the research. There is no statistically difference between two groups. To search the effects of gender the two kinds were choosen in equal numbers. There is no statistically difference between male and female groups. To understand the differences between the ears, both left and right ears were included in the study and the differences between the ears were being researched. There is no statistically difference between two ears. ABR tests were applied to 20 normally hearing subjects between ages of 20-37. Wave V. thresholds were determined and wave V latency values and standard deviations at all intensities were calculated for each subject. The ABR thresholds are higher than pure-tone thresholds. Differences between ABR and pure-tone thresholds are determined as 23 dB for 500 Hz, 20.5 dB for 1000 Hz , 15.5 dB for 2000 Hz , 10.5 dB for 4000 Hz . One channel recording technique was used.
