DÖNEMEÇTE ROMANINA EDEBIYAT SOSYOLOJISI AÇISINDAN BIR BAKIŞ

Abstract

Tarık Buğra’nın Dönemeçte romanı, edebiyat sosyolojisi bağlamında incelenmeye uygun metinlerden biridir. Eser, Tarık Buğra’nın çok partili hayata geçiş dönemini, bu dönemin getirdiği olumlu ve olumsuz durumları, bu sürecin toplum ve aydınlar üzerindeki tesirini ve bakış açısını Doktor Şerif, Handan ve Orhan arasındaki aşk üçgeninin arka plânında anlattığı bir dönem romanıdır. Romanda toplum ve aydın arasındaki çatışmadan Demokrat Parti’nin gelişim sürecine, Halk Partisi ve Millî Şef olarak nitelendirilen İsmet İnönü’ye, Demokrat Parti’nin kuruluşuyla bakışın nasıl değiştiğine, buğday fiyatlarının artmasıyla birlikte bir anda maddi refahı artan halkın parayı nasıl kullanacağını bilmeden savurmasına kadar dönemin toplumsal tarihine ışık tutan pek çok soruna değinilmiştir. Bu bakımdan eser, sosyolojik okumaya çok müsaittir. Adeta dönemin toplumsal olaylarına değinen gizli bir hazine niteliği taşır.Bu çalışmada 1946 ve 1948 yılları arası çok partili hayata geçiş sürecindeki sorunlar, bu sürecin işleyişi, aydınlar ve halk üzerindeki tesirleri örnekler üzerinden anlatılmıştır. Demokrat Parti’nin oluşumunu yeni tamamladığı bu süreçte politika, eğitim, kadın – erkek ilişkileri, aydın – halk kopukluğu gibi konulardaki sosyolojik saptamalar ve bu eksende yaşanan aydın – toplum çatışması çalışmada geniş bir şekilde ele alınmıştır.Tarık Buğra’s Dönemeçte novel is one of the most appropriate to examine is terms of literature sociology.
