Abstract
Haredim'in İsrail'deki varlığı hem İsrail'in genel politikaları hem de Haredim'in gelişimi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bununla birlikte Haredi grupların modern hayat karşısında takındıkları tutumlar da İsrai'lin yapısı açısından çeşitli düzeylerde tartışmalara yol açmaktadır ve bu İsrail'in devlet politikasına etki etmektedir. Özetle, bu çalışmada Haredim’in modern ve çağdaş sosyal dünyadan hangi konularda kendilerini izole ettikleri veya etmeye çalıştıkları üzerinde durularak İsrail'deki Haredim'in konumu ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda Haredim'in hangi konularda ülkenin sosyal ve siyasal yapısına etki ettiği anlaşılmaya çalışılarak Haredi topluluklar tasvir edilmiştir.
PLACE OF HAREDIM IN ISRAELI SOCIETY AND POLITICS Haredim are generally defined as groups that are excluded from Israeli society and politics. However, during their exclusion, Haredim do not stay away from social and political developments. It is not true to say that they are completely excluded from Israeli society, although they display distant behaviors on certain issues due to their religious interpretations. They continue to interact with the State and society of Israel through their political parties, Yahadut HaTora and Shas, and through their own cultural structures. It is obvious that this interaction cannot be one-sided. Haredim's views and behaviors against Zionism or modern life have a key importance in this interaction. The existence of the Haredim in Israel is important both for Israel's general policies and for the development of the Haredim. Especially due to the coalitions that took place in recent years, Haredim has become more important. However, the attitudes of Haredi groups towards modern life also lead to debates at various levels in terms of the structure of Israel that those debates affects Israel's state policy. In summary, in this study, the position of the Haredim in Israel has been tried to be revealed by emphasizing on what issues the Haredim isolate or try to isolate themselves from the modern and contemporary social world. In this context, Haredi communities were depicted by trying to understand on which issues the Haredim affected the social and political structure of the country.
