Adududdin El- İci'nin Ahlak Risalesi: Arapça Metni ve Tercümesi

Abstract

Adududdîn el-îcî (ö. 756/1355) farklı ilim dallarında eserler yazan Sünni/Eş'arî bir kelamcı ve Şafii fakihidir. Özellikle adâbü'1-bahs ve kelam alanlarındaki muhtasar eserleri medreselerde ders kitabı olarak okutulmuş, ayrıca bu çalışmalara birçok şerh ve haşiye yazılmıştır. Ahlâk risalesi Ahlâk-ı Adudiyye ise felsefî ahlâkın genel ilkelerini veren özlü bir çalışmadır. Bu çalışmaya beş şerh yazılmıştır ki risalenin ilk sarihi Icî'nin öğrencisi Şemseddin el-Kirmânî'dir (ö. 786/1384). Bu çalışmada ilk amacımız daha önce yayımlanmayan bu risaleyi tercümesiyle birlikte neşretmektir. Bununla birlikte Özellikle bir Eş'arî kelamcısı ve başkadı olarak Icî'nin neden felsefî ahlâk çizgisinde bir risale yazdığının sebeplerini araştıracağız. Bu makale üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde risaleyi değişik isimleri, içeriği, kaynakları ve etkileriyle birlikte ele aldık. İkinci bölüm risalenin üç yazma nüshaya dayalı tahkikli Arapça metnini, son bölüm ise risalenin Türkçe çevirisini içermektedir.

'Adud al-Dîn al-îcî (d. 756/1355) as a Sunni/Asha'arite theologian and Shafiite jurist, wrote many works in various branches of knowledge. Among them the respectively shorter works in semantic theory and kalâm (rational theology) were taught in colleges (madrasas) as standard textbooks, and a lot of commentaries and glosses were written on them. His ethical treatise, Akhlâk al- 'Adudiyya is a concise study that gives general principles of practical philosophy. Five commentaries were written on it which the first one belongs to îcî's pupil Shams al-Dîn al-Kirmânî (d. 786/1384). The first aim of this article is to edit the treatise and to translate it into Turkish. In addition to this, we will try to find particularly the reasons that induced an Ash' arite theologian and a chief judge (qâdî al-qudat) to write a treatise on ethics in a philosophical way. For this purpose, I discussed the various names attributed to the treatise, its content, sources and impacts in the introduction. While the second part of the article includes the edition of the Arabic text based on three manuscripts, the last part contains the Turkish translation of it.
