Sosyal-Çevre Bağlamında Kentte Gündelik Yaşam Estetiği, Sanatçıların Gözünden Kuzguncuk Semti

Abstract

Kentleri oluşturan mahalleler tarih boyunca hem mimari hem de sosyal açıdan önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Yapısal ve mekânsal olarak kendisine has özellikler taşıyan mahalleler birçok açıdan tarihe ışık tutmaktadır. Bazı mahalleler ise özellikli halini her dönem korumaktadır. İstanbul Üsküdar ilçesinebağlı Kuzguncuk semti bu tür mahallelerdendir. Kamusal alanda sanatla iç içe olan Kuzguncuk’ta sanat müzeden-galeriden çıkarak sokağa, caddeye, meydana eklenmiş; gündelik yaşama dahil olmuştur.Sakinleri ile etkileşim halindeki semtte sanatın bireye ulaşması hayal olmaktan çıkarak gereceğe dönüşmüştür. Çalışma bu çerçevede atölye ve ikamet adresi olarak seçimlerini Kuzguncuk’tan yana kullanan sanatçıların gözünden semt tarihine, sahip olduğu zenginliklere, sanatçıların semte kattıklarıile insan ve mekân etkileşimi bağlamında semti incelemektir.

The_x000D_ neighborhoods that form the cities have had an important place both in_x000D_ architecture and social aspects throughout the history. The neighborhoods,_x000D_ which have their own characteristics both structurally and spatially, seher_x000D_ light on history in many aspects. Some neighborhoods maintain their_x000D_ characteristics in every period. Kuzguncuk, a neighborhood in Üsküdar district_x000D_ in Istanbul, is this kind of an example. There, where art and public sphere go_x000D_ hand in hand, art has spread to the streets out of the museums or galleries._x000D_ Art involves in everyday life. In this interactive neighborhood, reaching of_x000D_ art to people isn't a dream anymore. In this context, this study aims to_x000D_ research the neighborhood in the context of human and space interaction by_x000D_ looking through the eyes of the artist who has chosen Kuzguncuk as a studio and_x000D_ inhabitancy. This research is based on the history of the neighborhood, the_x000D_ richness of it, the contribution of the artists to the local area considering_x000D_ the fact that the presence of the neighborhood will not be evaluated as just an_x000D_ area.
