Değerler eğitimi açısından spor

Abstract

Küreselleşen dünyada birçok alanda gelişim sağlanmasına rağmen insani değerler açısından ciddi aşınmalar oluşmuştur. Bu kötü süreç çocukları etkilemesiyle beraber onların eğitim alanlarını da yozlaştırmıştır. Bu yüzden eğitim programlarında farklılıklara gidilmiş, daha kapsayıcı bir eğitim modelinin geliştirilmesini zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Son yıllarda hız kazanan değişim sürecinde en çok göze çarpan kavram değerler eğitimidir. Farklı disiplinlerin bir araya gelmesi daha verimli bir eğitim ortamı oluşturur. Bu disiplinlerin en önemlisi beden eğitimi ve spordur. Bu çalışmada toplumda ihtiyaç duyulan ve korunması gereken değerlerle sporun ortak özelliklerinden yola çıkarak sporun çocukların eğitim sürecinde etkin kullanılması gerektiğine dikkat çekilecektir. Bununla birlikte spor evrensel ve herkes tarafından kabul gören değerler ile yeni bir kültür üretir. Öğrenilen değerlere uygulama alanı sunar. Katılımcısına verdiği zevk ile özellikle çocukların ilgisini çeker. Spor eğitiminde amaç iyi sporcu yetiştirmekten önce iyi insan yetiştirmektir. Bu yüzden bu araştırmanın amacı sporun özelliklerini değerler eğitimi alanına taşımak, sporun toplum fertlerinin özellikle çocukların yetiştirilmesinde eğitimin bir parçası olduğunu ortaya koymak ve spor yoluyla değerler eğitimi bilinci meydan getirmektir. Yapılan çalışmada literatür taraması yapılarak konuyla ilgili mevcut durum göz önüne serilmeye çalışılmış, durumsal betimleme ile yeni görüş ve ihtiyaçlar ortaya konmuştur. Değer sınıflandırmalarında bulunan değerler ile sporun ürettiği değerler karşılaştırılmıştır.

In the past century, globalization of the world has enhanced many aspects of the human life, but it has caused an extreme degradation in humanitarian values and culture. This degradation primarily affected children with the corruption of education and development grounds. Realization of the state of education and children forced executives to reform the current education programs to become more inclusive and extensive than ever before. With the increasing speed of improvement in education, value education is capturing more attention than any other concept. The most important branch of education in this topic is the physical training and sports. Throughout this research, the necessity of effective use of sports in education of children with regards to traditional values of society and sports, which are vital to the community and need to be preserved, will be presented. Another point to consider beside the benefits of sports is the creation of an alternative culture with universal and accepted values and manners. It provides an application ground to learned and improved values and attracts primarily children with the feeling of enjoyment and accomplishment throughout the participation. The fundamental purpose of sports is to development of decent human beings before an athlete. Therefore, the objectives of this academic research paper are to transfer the properties of sports into the field of value education, to indicate the sport is an essential part of education in members of society especially children and using sports to construct a consciousness of value education.In this academic research paper, literature reviews are conducted to lay out the current state of value education and sports relation and descriptive analysis of needs and alternative approaches to the situation.
