Publication: Türkiye’nin Komşu Ülkelerle Ticareti Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme
Abstract
Dünya üzerinde ticaret hacmini artırmayı amaçlayan ülkeler için komşuülkelerle ilişkilerin geliştirilmesi önemli bir stratejidir. Özellikle gelişmişülkelerin ticaret yaptığı ülkelerle ilişkileri değerlendirildiğinde, komşu ülkelerleticaretin toplam ticaretleri içinde önemli bir payı olmaktadır. Tarihsel süreçteTürkiye’nin de komşularıyla ilişkilerini geliştirmeye yönelik stratejilergeliştirilmiştir.Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin komşu ülkelerle siyasi ve ticari ilişkilerideğerlendirilerek bu ilişkilerin daha da geliştirilmesi için izlenecek stratejilerortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bunun için Türkiye ile ortak sınıra sahip 12komşu ülke ile siyasi ve ekonomik ilişkiler incelenmiştir.Sonuç olarakTürkiye’nin toplam ihracatı içinde komşu ülkelerin payı yüzde 15 ile yüzde 26arasında değişmektedir. Suriye ve Irak’taki siyasi olaylar, Yunanistan veErmenistan ile tarihsel süreçte yaşanan siyasi sorunlar, son dönemde Rusya ileyaşanan siyasi sorunlar ve diğer ülkeler tarafından uygulanan ekonomikyaptırımlar ülkemizin bu komşu ülkeler ile yapmış olduğu ticareti etkilemiştir.
Developing relations with neighboring countries is an important strategy for the countries that aim to increase their trade volume in the world. Evaluating especially the relations of the developed countries with the countries they trade with; the trade with neighboring countries has an important share within the total trades. Within the historical process, strategies have also been developed to improve Turkey’s relations with neighboring countries. In this study, it has been tried to reveal the strategies to be followed in improving Turkey’s political and commercial relations with neighboring countries even further by assessing these relations. With this design, political and economic relations with 12 neighboring countries that have a common border with Turkey has been analyzed. As a consequence, the share of neighboring countries within Turkey’s total export varies between 15% and 26%. Political events in Syria and Iraq, political problems that have been experienced with Greece and Armenia within the historical process, recent political problems with Russia and economic sanctions imposed by other countries have affected Turkey’s trade relations with these neighboring countries.
