Sağlık ekibinin hemşirenin eğitimci rolüne yönelik düşünceleri

Abstract

1. ÖZET Araştırma; sağlık ekibinin, hemşirenin eğitimci rolüne yönelik düşüncelerini belirlemeyi amaçlayan tanımlayıcı bir çalışmadır. Örneklemi, Zonguldak ilinde Sağlık Bakanlığı’na bağlı kurumlarda çalışan hemşire dışındaki 567 sağlık ekip üyesi oluşturdu. Veriler, 42 sorudan oluşan anket formu ile toplandı. Anket; katılımcıların demografik özellikleri, hemşirenin rolleri ve eğitimci rolüne yönelik düşüncelerini (5li likert tipte) içermekteydi. Katılımcıların, %41,8’i 28-37 yaş grubu arasında, %60’ı erkek, %27,9’u lise mezunu, %28,6’sı 6-10 yıllık mesleki deneyime sahip, %27,2’si hekimdi. Hemşirenin tedavi uygulayıcı rolü, rolün önem ve uygulamadaki yeterliliği açısından ilk sırada yer aldı. Hasta ve yakınlarının eğitiminde, hemşirenin eğitimci rolü daha önemli bulundu. Hemşirenin iş yükünün fazlalığı, eğitimci rolünü olumsuz etkileyen en önemli faktör olarak belirtildi. Katılımcıların hemşirenin eğitimci rolüne yönelik düşünceleri içinde; hemşire, işe yeni başlayan hemşirenin oryantasyon eğitiminden sorumludur ifadesi en yüksek; hemşire, yapacağı eğitim faaliyetlerine kendisi karar verir ifadesi en düşük ortalamaya sahipti. Bu bölümdeki 18 ifadenin toplam madde ortalaması 3,22 + 0,68 olarak bulundu. Sağlık ekip üyelerinin, hemşirenin eğitimci rolüne yönelik görüşleri ile yaş, öğrenim düzeyi ve çalışılan kurum arasında anlamlı fark yoktu. Kadın sağlık ekip üyelerinin, hekimlerin, hemşire yakını olanların hemşirenin eğitimci rolüne yönelik görüşleri daha olumluydu. Role of The Nurse Educator for The Health Team Ideas This is a descriptive study designed in order to identify the opinions of the health team regarding the role of the nurses as educators. The sampling of the study consists of 567 non-nurse health workers working in the health service district of Health Ministry in the city of Zonguldak. The data have been obtained through a questionnaire form consisting of 42 questions. The findings have been analyzed through SPSS. The questionnaire involved the thoughts of the participants’ demographical characteristics about the roles of the nurse and the role as educators (5li likert type). 41,8% of the participants were between the ages 28-37, 60% were male, 27,9% were high school graduates, 28,6% had 6-10 years of experience, 27,2% were physician. Medical treatment operator role of the nurse takes the first part in terms of the importance and the proficiency of the role in appliance. The role of the nurse as educators was considered more important in the education of the patients and their relatives. The excess work of the nurse was pointed out to be the most important factor that affected the educator role as negatively. Amongst the participants’ thoughts on the role of the nurses as educators, the expression “the nurse is responsible for the beginner nurse’s orientation” had the highest average and the expression “the nurse decides the type of education she would give” had the lowest average. Total question average of the 18 expression in this part was found 3,22 + 0,68. Furthermore, there wasn’t a considerable difference between age, the standard of learning and the institution with the opinions of the health team members on nurse’s as educators. Female health team members, medical physicians and the nurse relatives had more positive views on nurse as educators. Finally, it was determined that health team members’ opinions were not clear and the opinions were concentrated on the choice.
