Publication: Askeri Liselerdeki Genel Coğrafya Konularının Askeri Coğrafya ile İlişkisine Dair Bir Araştırma
Abstract
Askeri liselerdeki coğrafya dersi müfredatı, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın belirlediği müfredata paralel olarak hazırlanıp uygulanmaktadır. Askeri lise genel coğrafya dersinin, sivil liselerden farklı olarak, askeri coğrafya ve topoğrafya dersleriyle ilişkilendirilerek işlenmesine duyulan ihtiyacın tespiti ve bu doğrultuda oluşturulabilecek yardımcı bir kaynağı içeriğinin belirlenmesi gereklidir. Söz konusu ihtiyacın tespiti için yapılan ön araştırmada askeri lise öğrencileri ve Kara Harp Okulu mezunu subaylarla yapılan sözlü mülakatlarda sorulara alınan yanıtlar değerlendirilmiş ve bu tarz bir araştırmanın gerekliliğine karar verilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma ile elde edilen bulgular sonucunda yardımcı kaynağın gerekliliği ortaya çıkmıştır.
The curriculum of Geography course in military high schools is prepared in parallel to the curriculum determined by the Ministry of Education. Apart from the general geography course in other high schools, it is necessary to determine the need to do geography lessons in military high schools by linking them with military geography and topography courses and to determine the contents of a supporting course book which might be compiled in this direction. In a pilot study to determine the requirements, the results of the interviews with cadets and Army Academy graduates have been assessed and it has been decided that such a survey was needed. In the light of the findings obtained by this study, a need for a supporting course book has arisen.
