MALZEME İHTİYAÇ PLANLAMASI VE STOK YÖNETİMİNDE BİR İŞLETME UYGULAMASI Hızla değişen ve gelişen ekonomik etmenler karşısında işletmelerin başarılarını arttırmak ve sürekliliklerini korumak amacıyla ihtiyaç duydukları çözümleri elde edebilmeleri, gelişen teknolojilerin sunduğu imkanlardan yararlanmalarını gerektirmektedir. Malzeme İhtiyaç Planlama (MİP) sistemi, işletmelerin üretim proseslerini kontrol edebilmek için geliştirilen bilgisayar tabanlı bir sistem olmakla beraber, günümüzde proses ve kaynak kontrolünde kullanılan daha gelişmiş birçok sistemin de temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada MİP sistemini kullanan Flender Güç Aktarma Sistemleri San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. üzerinde, sistemin başarısını sağlayan en önemli unsurlardan biri olan zamanlama fonksiyonunun etkileri araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, tedarik sürelerindeki belirsizler ortadan kaldırılıp, bekleme sürelerinde azalma sağlanarak üretim programları ve müşteri servislerinde iyileşme sağlanmıştır. Üretim, minimum stok yatırımı ile gerçekleştirilerek stok maliyetlerinde azalma ve kar marjında artış sağlanmıştır. Material Requirement Planning system is a computer based system which is developed for the enterprises to control their production processes and also constitutes the basic fundamental of some other more developed systems which are currently used for process and source control. In this study, the influence of the timing function which is one of the most notable factors ensuring the success of the system was analyzed upon Flender Power Transmission Systems Industry and Trade Limited Company who uses MIP system. As a result, the uncertainties on the supply periods were removed and by providing reduction in the waiting time, production programs and customer services were improved. By keeping the production with minimum stock investment, stock costs were reduced and profit margins were increased.
