Yemezzade Süleyman Rüşdi ve Pend-İ Attar tercümesi

Abstract

Fars edebiyatı şâirlerinden Ferîdüddin Attâr’ın Pendnâme adlı eserinin Türk edebiyatında pek çok tercüme ve şerhleri yazılmıştır. Dinî ve ahlâkî konuları içerisinde barındıran bu eser, günlük yaşantımızda bizlere rehber olabilecek öğütler vermektedir. Yemezzâde Süleyman Rüşdî ve Pend-i Attâr Tercümesi adlı çalışmamızın amacı, daha önce tespit edilmemiş olan bu manzûm Pendnâme tercümesini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmamız giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında Türk edebiyatındaki öğüt geleneğine değinilerek Pendnâme ’ninedebiyatımızdaki tercüme ve şerhlerine yer verilmiştir. Pendnâme ’nin Attâr’a ait olup olmadığı ile ilgili görüşlere dikkat çekilip Pendnâme ile ilgili Türk edebiyatında yapılan kitap, tez, makale, bildiri gibi çalışmalar tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde Yemezzâde Süleyman Rüşdî Efendi’nin hayatı, edebî şahsiyeti ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde eserin şekil ve muhtevâ özellikleri incelenmektedir. Çalışmamızın üçüncü bölümünde Yemezzâde Süleyman Rüşdî Efendi’nin Tercüme-i Kitâb-ı Pend-i Attâr isimli eserinin transkripsiyonlu metni bulunmaktadır.

Many translations and commentaries were written in Turkish literature about, who work of Persian literature poet, Feridüddin Attar’s Pendname. This study, which contains religious and ethical issues, gives us advice that can guide us in our everyday life. The aim of the study Yemezzâde Suleyman Ruşdi and Translation of Pend-i Attar reveals the Pendname interpretation of this poetry which has not been determined before. Our study consists of introduction and three parts. In the introduction, the tradition of Turkish literature was mentioned and Pendname’s translation and commentaries in our literature are included. Attention was drawn to the views on whether Pendname belongs to Attâr and studies such as books, theses, articles, reports made in Turkish Literature related to Pendname have been determined. In the first part of our study, information about Yemezzâde Suleyman Rusdi Efendi’s life, literary personality and studies were given. In the second part, the shape and content characteristics of the study are examined. In the third part of our study, there is the transcriptional text of Yemezzâde Suleyman Rusdi Efendi’s study named Tercüme-i Kitâb-ı Pend-i Attâr.
