Abstract
TAŞINABİLİR AYGITLAR ÜZERİNDE UYGULAMA SUNUCUSU GERÇEKLENMESİ Mobil teknoloji kullanımı son yıllarda çok yaygınlaşmış ve hemen hemen her türlü işimizi halledebilecek bir altyapıya kavuşmuştur. Fakat yine de bu yeterli altyapıya rağmen, yeterli yazılım bulunmamaktadır.Yazılımların çokca gelişmemesinde bir noktada kullanılan araçların sadece istemci olarak düşünülmesi olduğu söylenebilir. İşte bu noktada sadece mobil iletişim araçlarında çalışan bir servis yazılımı, hem bu araçların çok daha verimli kullanılmasını sağlayacak, hem de bu araçlara olan bakışı değiştirecektir. Böylelikle mobil araçların daha efektif kullanımını artıracak ve endüstüriye yeni bir vizyon getirecektir. Mobil araçların hızlı gelişimi, bize üzerlerinde çalışabilir program yazmaya imkan tanımıştır. Şu anki imkanlar bize mobil araçlar üzerinde masaüstü bilgisayarlarda çalışan programlar gibi yazılım geliştirmeye olanak vermektedir. Gelinen noktada hücresel ağ, mobil araçlara internet erişimi sunmakta ve bu da büyük olanaklar sağlamaktadır. Bu imkanlar tezin öngördügü yazılımı yazabilmek için yeterlidir. Tezin amacı ise mobil araçların herhangi bir klasik istemci yapısını yazılımla servis hizmeti veren bir bilgisayar gibi çalıştırabilmektir. Böylelikle herhangi bir servis hizmeti veren bir makine gibi internet kullanım tabanlı programları makine üzerinde paylaşabilecek bir yazılım ortaya çıkacak ve bunun sonucunda her türlü mobil aracı olan insanlara interneten ulaşılabilecek ve her türlü dosya paylaşımı gerçekleşebilecektir. IMPLEMENTATION OF AN APPLICATION SERVER ON MOBILE DEVICES Mobil devices are very widespread and commonly used as the technology advances in last years. Also the technological infrastructure makes enable to perform all tasks of us with our mobile devices. However the software working on these devices are not common and not developed much so far. One of the reasons is the perception of mobile devices just as a client device. At that point, a sort of software, which works as a server, if developed, will eventually make use the devices efficient and more beneficial than it were. Moreover, this will bring a new point of view to the mobile devices industry and enlarge the vision of market. Innovations in mobile devices allow us to write software running on them. Today technology gives opportunity to write software on mobile devices like software working on desktop PC. Currently, cellular network supports Internet connection for mobile devices. This will enable to write sophisticated software and also allows writing the appropriate code. The aim of the thesis is to implement an application server that works on mobile devices and gives service and make sharing of data available as a server working at an office. This is far from the classic mobile device software idea, which generally views the device as a client.
