Publication: Bilgisayar destekli öğretimin etkililiği üzerine bir meta analiz çalışması
Abstract
BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ ÖĞRETİMİN ETKİLİLİĞİ ÜZERİNE BİR META ANALİZ ÇALIŞMASI Ülkemizde bilgisayar destekli öğretimin etkililiği üzerine gerçekleştirilen araştırma sayısı her geçen gün artarak devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, 1998–2007 yılları arasında yapılmış, bilgisayar destekli öğretiminin, geleneksel yöntem ile karşılaştırıldığı nicel çalışmalar incelenmiştir. Konu ile ilgili 422 yüksek lisans ve doktora, 124 makale ve bildirinin bulunduğu çalışma havuzundan dahil edilme kriterlerine uygun 78 adet çalışma meta analiz yöntemiyle birleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin akademik başarıya olan etki büyüklüğü 1,048 olarak bulunmuştur. Bulunan değerin, Thalheimer ve Cook tarafından tarafından yapılan sınıflandırmaya göre geniş (large), Cohen ve arkadaşları (2000) tarafından yapılan sınıflandırmaya göre ise büyük (large) etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. In this research, quantitative studies which are between 1998 to 2007, comparing the effectiveness of computer based education to conventional education, are combined together meta analytical review method. 78 studies that have eligible data were combined with meta analytical methods by coding protocol from the pool 422 master and doctorial degree and 124 article. As a result for the study, effect size of computer based education method for academical success calculated 1,048. This is large scale according to Thalheimer and Cook, large scale according to Cohen and friends (2000) scale. In relation with the result some recommendations were made.
