Abstract

Polygonum istanbulicum, a species endemic to Istanbul was thoroughly examined in this study. Leaf epidermal characteristics, micromorphological structures belonging to stomata, pollen, and seeds were explained with the assistance of several SEM photographs, and the results obtained were compared to similar studies. Additionally, all specific and distinguishing characteristics of the species were also specified. © 2021, Interamerican Society for Electron Microscopy (CIASEM). All rights reserved.
