Information forms consisting of descriptive and professional features of nurses and “Behavioral Inventory Regarding Professionalism in Nursing” were used as means of data collection. Data were evaluated by percentage, arithmetic mean, one way variance analysis, chi-square, and Kruskall Wallis test. It was seen that 34.7% of nurses who participated in the research were in the age group of 31-40, 36.3% had bachelor’s degree, and that 59.7% had 1-5 years of professional experience. The highest professional behavior score of nurses was found at private hospitals (5.47±3.80) and the lowest was found at public and teaching hospitals (3.72±3.15). Professional behavior score was found higher for the 18-25 age group (4.77±3.23), for female nurses (4.35±3.48), for administrative nurses (7.58±4.61), and for nurses with 16-20 years of experience (4.88±3.42). In light of the findings, suggestions were made to nurses regarding professional behaviors. Key Words: Professionalism in Nursing, Behavioral Inventory Regarding Professionalism in Nursing, Hospital
