Yûsuf İle Züleyhâ mesnevîlerinde Yâkub Peygamber

Abstract

YÛSUF İLE ZÜLEYHÂ MESNEVÎLERİNDE YÂKUB PEYGAMBER Yâkub peygamber, eski Türk edebiyatı ve dolayısıyla İslâmî Türk edebiyatı muhtevâsına dâhil olan dinî şahıslar zümresindendir. Hz. İbrahim’in torunu, Hz. İshak’ın oğlu olan Yâkub peygamber hayatı, peygamberliği ve mûcizeleriyle edebiyatımızda mâkes bulmuştur. Fakat onun edebiyatımızdaki asıl şöhreti, oğlu Yûsuf’tan ayrı kaldığı sürede yaşadığı üzüntü ve bu üzüntüye karşı gösterdiği sabırdan kaynaklanmaktadır. Yûsuf ile Züleyhâ mesnevîleri hem Hz. Yâkub’un hayatı ve nebevî şahsiyetini hem de oğlu Yûsuf’la olan bağını tafsilatlı bir şekilde ele alan metinlerdir. Çalışmamızda da XIII. asırdan itibaren Türk edebiyatı sahasında kaleme alınmış ve kendi döneminin karakteristik özelliklerini taşıyan sekiz Yûsuf ile Züleyhâ mesnevîsinden hareketle Yâkub peygamber portresi oluşturulmuştur. Mesnevîlerde Hz. Yâkub’un yalnızca peygamber rolüyle değil Yûsuf’a derin bir sevgiyle bağlı baba olma özelliğiyle de ele alınması onun, hikâyenin ana karakterlerinden biri mesabesinde görülmesini sağlamıştır. kub peygamber, Yûsuf ile Züleyhâ, âşık-mâşuk, sabr-ı cemîl, mesnevî.

PROPHET YÂKUB IN YÛSUF AND ZÜLEYHÂ MATHNAWIS Prophet Yâkub is one of the religious people included in old Turkish literature and Islamic Turkish literature. Prophet Yâkub, grandson of Prophet İbrahim and son of Prophet İshak, was reflected on our literature with his life, prophethood and miracles. However his initial fame in our literature stems from the sorrow when he was away from his son Yûsuf and the patience he showed. Mathnawis of Yûsuf & Züleyhâ are detailed texts that mention both the life andcharacter of Prophet Yâkub as a prophet and his connection with his son Yûsuf. In this work, a portrait of Prophet Yâkub was composed with reference to eight mathnawis of Yûsuf & Züleyhâ that had been written since XIII. century in the field of Turkish literature and have characteristic features of the time. Prophet Yâkub’s having been told both with the role of prophet and with the role of a father that loves his son so much gave rise to his being seen as one of the main characters of the story.
