Publication: Seyfeddin el- Amidi'nin İsmetü'l- Enbiya konusundaki görüşleri
Abstract
Hariciler'in aşırı bir kolu olan Ezarika dışında bütün İslam mezhepleri, peygamberlerin günahtan korunmuşluğunu (ismet) kabul ederken, ismetin zamanı ve mahiyeti konusunda ihtilafa düşmüşlerdir. Peygamberlerin masum olması, onların küçük- büyük her türlü günahtan oldukları anlamına mı gelir?
Among all Muslim schools and sects, except a radical branch of the Khariji sect, there is an agreement that the prpphets are prevented from disobedience. There is, however, disagreement as to time and nature of the infallibility. Is the prophetic impeccability ınclude all disobedient acts, serious nature they are or not serious? Could the prophets commit such wrpng deeds unintentionally? And were they also prevented in the period before their prophetic mission? From the early days these questions were central about the institution of prophethood. Saifaddin al- amidi, one of the most important mutaahhir asari theologians, introduced and accomplished, original and viable argument in regards to the impeccability of the prophets not only by his explanation but also by his methods.
