Ameliyathanelerde bulunan steril malzeme depolarının mevcut durumunun değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Araştırma İstanbul ili Devlet Hastanelerinin ve Devlet Üniversitesi Hastanelerinin ameliyathanelerinde bulunan steril malzeme depolarının mevcut durumunun değerlendirilmesi, Hastanelerin ameliyathane ünitelerinde bulunan steril malzeme depolarında steril malzemelerin saklama koşullarının, kabul edilen steril malzeme saklama standartlarına uyumunun saptanması amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ili bölgesindeki 3 Devlet Üniversitesi hastanesi ve 47 Devlet Hastanesinin ameliyathanelerindeki steril malzeme depoları oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem evreni temsil etmektedir. Bu hastanelerin tümüne ulaşılması hedeflendiğinden örneklem evreni temsil etmektedir. Ancak, 20 Devlet Hastanesi, 2 Devlet Üniversitesi hastanesinin kurum onayı alınamadığı için araştırmanın örneklemi olan 27 Devlet Hastanesi, 1 Devlet Üniversitesi hastanesindeki 41 steril malzeme deposunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan sorgulama formu kullanılarak, araştırmacı tarafından ameliyathane sorumlu hemşireleri, sterilizasyon sorumlu hemşireleri ile yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS programında değerlendirilmiş Cross-tabs, Kruskal-Wallis ve Ki-kare testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilere göre, steril malzeme depolarının kurumlardaki mimari konumları, işleyiş şekilleri, steril malzemelerin depolanma koşulları saptanmıştır. The Evaluatıon of Operatıng Room Sterıle Materıal Depots ' Current Status This study aimed to evaluate operating room sterile material depots' current status in the İstanbul city region. The sterile material storage conditions and compatibility to sterile material storing standards were determined. The sterile material depot cohort of this study is consisted of 3 state university hospitals and 47 state hospitals in the İstanbul city region. The study aim was to include whole sterile material depots in the region. Therefore the sampling represents the environment. However, institutional study consents of 20 state hospitals and 2 state university hospitals were not provided. Therefore, this study was performed in 41 sterile material depots of 27 state hospitals and 1 state university hospital. The data was collected by using a questionnaire and face to face interviews. Face to face interviews were done with the responsible nurses of the operating room and/ or the sterilization. Statistical analysis of the data was performed by using Kruskal-Wallis and chi-square tests in the SPSS program. According to the data collected, sterile material depots’ architectural sites, functional status and sterile material storage conditions were established.
