dc.description.abstractCourt (Şer'iye) Records are the first- hand references which are abaut the administrative, military, political, economic and cultural life of Ottomon history. These references which are related with the various aspects of Turkish culture in such a direct way must be investigcted in a scientific manner. İn our thesis we have studied the judicial which belongs to Üsküdar Law Court numbered from H.1124-to 1125 and M.1712-1713. This thesis is prepared with the aim to serve for the Turkish history and culture.İn the first part, Court Records, judge and his duties, and the document types are examined. Following chapter includes the list of place and site names which exist in the records. The index which are organizeed according to the judgement numbers are placed just at the end of the thesis before the text transcripts.
