Necmeddin el-Katibi'nin Bahru'l-fevaid adlı eserinin tahlil ve tahkiki

Abstract

Bu tez bir giriş, iki bölüm, sonuç ve iki ek bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezin ana bölümleri Necmeddin el-Kâtibî’nin (675/ 1277) Bahru’l-fevâid eserinin incelemesine, ek bölümleri ise Bahru’l- fevâid’in tahkikli metni ve nüshalarına ayrıldı. Giriş Bölümü’nde tezin konusu, amacı, yöntemi ve sınırlarıyla birlikte Kâtibî’nin Bahru’l-fevâid’ini çalışmanın önemi; kaynakların değerlendirmesiyle beraber tezin literatüre katkısı ele alındı. Ayrıca tahkikte uygulanan yöntem açıklandı. Bahru’l-fevâid incelemesine ve Kâtibî çalışmalarına temel teşkil edecek olan Kâtibî’nin mantık eserlerinin kronolojisi belirlendi. Bahru’l-fevâid’in şerh değil, müstakil bir telif olduğu öne sürüldü. İslam mantık tarihinin 10. ve 14. yüzyıllar arasında kaleme alınan mantık kitaplarının, yazım tarzları açısından dört grupta değerlendirilebileceği ileri sürülüp Kâtibî’nin eserlerinin üçüncü grupta yer aldığı ortaya kondu. Daha sonra Bahru’l-fevâid’teki kaynak kullanımının temel özellikleri belirlendi. İkinci Bölüm’de Kâtibî’nin Aynu’l-kavâid, Bahru’l-fevâid, Câmiu’d-dekâik ve Şemsiyye eserlerinin giriş, kavramlar ve önermeler bölümlerinde farklı görüş öne sürdüğü konuların listesi oluşturuldu ve bu konulardan delalet meselesi, mahiyetin parçaları konusu ve modal önermelerin düz döndürmeleri problemi mezkûr eserler arasında karşılaştırmalı olarak ele alındı. Ek 1’de Bahru’l-fevâid’in Dünya kütüphanelerinde bulunan nüshaları tanıtıldı ve Ek 2’de Bahru’l-fevâid’in tahkikli metnine yer verildi.

This thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, and two appendix chapters. The main chapters of the thesis examine Najm al-Din al-Katibi’s (675/ 1277) Bahr al-fawaid, while the appendices contain the critical edition of Bahr and information on its manuscripts. The subject, purpose, methodology, and limitations of the thesis are discussed in the introduction along with the significance of studying Bahr al-fawaid. The contribution of the thesis to the literature is stated during the evaluation of the sources. The methodology applied in the critical edition is also given in the introduction. In the first chapter, the chronology of al-Katibi's logical works, which will constitute the basis for the analysis of Bahr al-fawaid and al-Katibi studies, was determined. Firstly, it was argued that Bahr al-fawaid is not a commentary but an independent composition. Then, it was argued that the books of logic written between the 10th and 14th centuries in the history of Islamic logic can be evaluated in four groups in terms of their writing style, and it was revealed that al-Katibi's works were in the third group. Finally, the main features of the use of sources in Bahr al-fawaid were identified. In the second chapter, a list of the topics on which al-Katibi had different opinions in the ‘introduction’, ‘concepts’ and ‘propositions’ sections of his books Ayn al-qawaid, Bahr al-fawaid, Jami al-deqaiq and Shamsiyya was compiled, and among these topics, the issue of signification, the issue of the parts of essence and the problem of conversion of modal propositions were discussed comparatively between the aforementioned works. Appendix 1 introduces the copies of Bahr al-fawaid in the world libraries, and Appendix 2 presents the critical edition of Bahr al-fawaid
