Publication: Andersen masalları’nda çocukluk kavramının cinsiyet rolleri bağlamında incelenmesi
Abstract
Bu çalışmada Andersen Masalları’nın cinsiyet rolleri bağlamında incelenmesini amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde kadınların, erkeklerin ve çocukların toplumsal rollerinin geçmişten günümüze nasıl değişip dönüştüğü kronolojik bir çerçevede incelenmiştir. Ayrıca kadınların görevlerinin ve sorumlulukların zaman içindeki değişimi yine tarihsel bağlamda ele alınarak, feminist kuram çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Çocuk edebiyatının popüler kaynaklarından biri olan Andersen Masalları’nın çocukların gelişimi açısından nasıl öğretiler ve mesajlar içerdiği bu kuramsal çerçeve bağlamında içerik analizi yapılarak incelenmiştir. Bu masalların kız ve oğlan çocuklara yüklediği görevler ve sorumluluklar ayrı ayrı ele alınarak toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri bağlamında değerlendirilmiş; verilen mesajların çocukların bilinçaltının gelişimindeki rolü açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca masallardaki erkek ve kadın kahramanlar arasındaki karakter farklılıkları ile masalların yazıldığı dönemdeki toplumsal yaklaşımların şekillendirdiği kadın kavramı analiz edilmiştir
This study aims to analyze Andersen Fairy Tales in the context of gender roles. In the first section of the study, how the social roles of women, men and children have changed and transformed from past to present is analyzed in a chronological framework. Later, the change in women's duties and responsibilities over time is analyzed within the framework of feminist theory, again in the context of history. How Andersen Fairy Tales, one of the popular sources of children's literature, contain teachings and messages in terms of children's development was analyzed through content analysis in the context of this theoretical framework. The duties and responsibilities that these tales impose on girls and boys were analyzed separately and evaluated in the context of gender roles; the role of the messages in the development of children's subconscious was explained. In addition, the character differences between male and female protagonists in the fairy tales and the concept of woman shaped by the social approaches in the period when the fairy tales were written were analyzed.
