Publication: Örgütsel prestij algısı ile çalışanların örgüte bağlılıkları arasındaki ilişkide lider üye etkileşiminin rolü üzerine bir araştırma
Abstract
In this study, the aim is to determine the mediating role of leader member exchange on the influence of perceived external prestige over organizational commitment. In order to build the foundation of the research, 232 private sector white-collar employees from Istanbul are surveyed. The research concluded that there was a positive correlation between perceived external prestige, organizational commitment and leader member exchange. It is determined that perceived external prestige has a decisive effect on organizational commitment and that the leader member exchange as an intermediary variable has a causal relationship with perceived external prestige and organizational commitment. As a result of the hierarchical regression and Sobel tests, which were made to determine the mediation, it is determined that the leader member exchange is a partial interim variable between perceived external prestige and organizational commitment.
